This collection is comprised of 3 components. Helleborus Winter Jewels Slate – The most exciting new color in the Winter Jewels strain is this smoldering charcoal-ash shade of balck, shot with spidery red veins and overtones of blue. The buds are pure black, opening to blooms so dark you may want to cut a few immediately to enjoy indoors. The dark tones also draw attention to the white-tipped center, offering handsome contrast.
An absolute necessity for the shade garden of any Helleborus lover. Appearing in late winter and spring on plants 20 inches high, 24 inches wide, the flowers are long-lasting and perfect for cutting. American-bred, vigorous, and very heavy-blooming, this hand-selected shade introduces a new color blend to the Hellebore palette. Zones 4-8.Qty 1 4-inch Pot. Zones 4 – 8. Helleborus Winter Jewels Red – Rose and carmine tones mingle with pure red in these blooms, which are distinctly different from the traditional burgundy or maroon of other Hellebores. Shading to near black at the base, these flowers make a particularly fine companion to Winter Jewels? Slate.
