Dainty Fragrant Blooms are Hugely Reliable. A unique addition to any Tulip collection! This miniature species Tulip is one of the most charming we’ve ever seen, with irresistibly scented, starry cup-shaped blooms in early spring. Composed of 6 tepals, 3 of which are tinted with mauve on the outside, these white blooms open wide to show off their butter-yellow centers and showy yellow anthers.
Producing up to five blooms on each 2- to 3-inch tall stem, it’s just right for planting in pots, tucking into the rock garden, or lining the garden walk. Native to the rough terrain of the Middle Eastern mountains, this adaptable little bulb is right at home in rocky, well-drained, or poor soil. It will naturalize readily if left undisturbed, increasing in number with every passing year. Zones 4-8
