This Dwarf Korean Lilac is a very hardy selection and is mildew-resistant, too.
Syringa meyeri is laden with enormous quantities of fragrant, pink-tinted lavender panicles in early summer. This beauty is a true sun worshiper, preferring full sun, but will flower well in light shade. Painstakingly pruned and trained to a single trunk, this dwarf Korean Lilac is sculptured into a magnificent formal accent! Mildew-free, and an exceptionally hardy garden gem.
Space Lilacs 6 to 12 feet apart in an airy location with full sun and well-drained soil. A yearly top-dressing of mulch, preferably well-composted manure, is beneficial.
Hardiness: Zones 3-8.
