Pointing straight up, they take twists and turns, creating a fascinating effect in front of dark green foliage, walls, or buildings.

A fine source of vertical color for arrangements, they are also long-lasting in the garden, holding their vivid hue and erect form well during the heat and humidity of midsummer.Easy to grow in full sun, Suworowii is not picky about soil type provided the drainage is adequate. Plants are superb for the border or bed, and indispensable for the cutting garden. The long panicles may be dried for Everlastings, but are probably most effective used in fresh bouquets.To dry, simply cut the stem at desired height, remove the foliage, and hang the branch upside-down in a well-ventilated, dry location.
