Siberian Iris Ballerina Dance

Big blooms on petite plants!

The showiest Siberian Iris to come along in quite a while, Dance Ballerina Dance is the perfect complement to the whites, yellows, and blues of your Iris planting! Just 2 feet tall, it sets large, elegantly-formed blooms, and like all Siberians, thrives in moist soil that other plants can’t tolerate! These flowers measure 3 inches across, with tall, elegantly sculpted standards of pure white and wide, rounded, ruffled falls of lilac-pink with golden and white markings. Ideal for indoor arrangements, they add soft color to the sunny garden and are eye-catching from across the street! If you like Dance Ballerina Dance, try pairing it with two-tone blue Steve.

Siberian Irises begin blooming in early April in the south, and about a week later for every 100 miles farther north. They need full sunshine and lots of water, and don’t mind “”wet feet,”" making them perfect for waterside plantings of all types. Particularly profusely flowering where winters are cold, they are hardy in all but the hottest, driest regions of the U.S.Space plants about 12 to 18 inches apart. It will spread over time and may be divided into many new plants every few years.
