Miscanthus Gracillimus

Elegantly swaying stems add year-round interest to the back of the border or as a spectacular specimen planting. Gracefully arching, 4- to 5-foot clumps of silvery-green leaves give way to feathery, flowering stems — a favorite subject of Japanese paintings. Year-long interest in back of the border or combined with shrubs. Likes full sun. Zones 4-9.
