Rich, clear pink flowers in 4-inch heads become rosy-red in cool weather. Its compact growth (3-foot spread), globular shape, and glossy, rich foliage, which stays green until hard frost, make it perfect for specimen, foundation, or low hedge planting.Hydrangeas are among the showiest of summer- and autumn-flowering woody plants. Shade-tolerant, they grow well under trees or on the shady side of a building. Plant singly as focal points, or mass together for stunning borders.
