Stunning Apricot Tones for Sun OR Shade!
Quick-growing and very cold-hardy!
The best new name in Coral Bells is so sweet — the Dolce Hybrids, grown by one of America’s best plantsmen (Dan Heims) and boasting 3 exciting colors, all completely unique. The Dolces are very fast-growing, cold-hardy, and vigorous, with large, showy leaves whose markings only improve with age. Peach Melba is a stunning apricot and deep red combination, with some markings nearly black and other patches a soft, rich peach hue. There’s no other color like it in the Heuchera family, and you’ll love how it combines with neighboring plants in the garden.
Just 12 to 16 inches high and wide, Peach Melba sports masses of bell-shaped white blooms in spring. The flowers dangle high above the foliage, as if signalling visitors to come admire. Each leaf is unique on this plant; some nearly solid peach, others heavily marked with wine-red to black, and everything in between. One of the best things about this series is that it thrives in absolutely ANY light, from blazing sun to full shade! No matter where that bare patch of garden is, it can be filled with Peach Melba! Space plants about 15 inches apart. Zones 5-11.
